Ronin International Protection Officer stops active shooter
In March of 2022, while on duty, Ronin Officer Ron De Guimera stopped an active shooter that Was in the process of committing a forcible felony. The armed subject presented a firearm to a group of people and began firing, wounding one of the victims. The Ronin Officer immediately engaged the threat and ultimately disarmed the armed subject. For his actions, Officer De Guimera was presented an award by Tampa Police Department for his actions in stopping the shooter.
